Reda Mansour was born in 1965 in Isfiya (Usfiya) on Mount Carmel. He earned a doctorate in history and built a distinguished diplomatic career, serving as a consul and ambassador in posts around the world — and counted among the youngest ambassadors of his time.
Beyond diplomacy he is a published poet and a scholar of his community's history, writing on the Druse and the Arabic literary tradition. He has been a frequent and articulate public voice, representing his community and country in international forums.
His life joins several threads of the Druse story at once — the love of learning, the gift of eloquence that runs from Shakib Arslan onward, and the readiness to serve on the largest of stages.
